Required Skills
- Comprehensive review of collateral and all property elements.
- Ensure portfolio and investor compliance.
- Ensure credit policy and procedures are followed.
- Generate self employed income through tax return analysis.
- Clearly document underwriting decision.
- Prepare customer commitments to be issued detailing additional conditions.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of underwriting self employed individuals.
- Demonstrate full knowledge of collateral and appraisal understanding and have experience with unique properties.
- Full knowledge of condominiums and cooperative lending.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- May be required to lift loan files up to 10 pounds.
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of five years non-conforming/portfolio underwriting experience.
- Associate's Degree preferred.
