Treasury Solutions Intern - Key Responsibilities
The Valley Intern Program (VIP) is a unique and challenging 9-week experience for diverse, talented and motivated students interested in gaining relevant experience in their specific area of study within the banking industry. As a Valley intern you will be part of a team and work on projects that enable you to gain real-world skills and experience -- integrating academic learning with practical application. We offer the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to grow professionally and contribute to the end results of the assigned projects.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Provide operational support by assisting with day-to-day tasks, helping the team manage workload efficiently and enabling staff to focus on high-priority projects and client-facing activities.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives that drive business objectives forward, particularly those that require dedicated attention beyond the bandwidth of the sales team.
- Support process improvements and research efforts to enhance treasury solutions offerings and optimize internal workflows.
- Collaborate with team members to gather data, prepare reports, and assist in developing client presentations and proposals.
- Deliver cost-effective staffing support by performing temporary assignments that add value to the team while gaining hands-on experience in treasury and financial solutions.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Support your manager in performing research and/or analysis on specific topics.
- Independently complete tasks that contribute to larger projects relevant to the assigned department.
- Participate in meetings and team discussions to gain insight and contribute to the team's goals or projects.
- Communicate with team members and other departments to coordinate work, gather information and develop final work products.
- Join team building activities to establish cross functional relationships within the Valley community.
- Participate in VIP Mentorship Program meetings with your mentor to enhance your business acumen, network with senior leaders and develop technical and professional skills.
- Document and report on progress and results of projects and tasks.
- Attend professional development sessions/classes.
- Participate in VIP (Valley Intern Program) hosted events,trainings and projects including
- Valley Week of Service, Culture Workshops and final project presentations.
- Complete other related duties as assigned by the respective manager.
- Follow Company policies and procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
- Motivated self-starter.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Rising sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student.
- Currently enrolled in a College or University program.
