We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Worker to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of our property. This role involves a variety of outdoor tasks including landscaping, minor repairs, and general upkeep. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and can perform physical tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform weed eating, mowing, and general lawn care
- Maintain gardens, including planting, watering, and removing weeds
- Pick up trash and debris to keep grounds clean and presentable
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance as needed (e.g., minor fixes, painting, etc.)
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal and other upkeep
- Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or needed repairs
Job Requirements
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors for extended periods
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and groundskeeping preferred, but not required
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power equipment (training provided if needed)
