Paving Crew Luteman

Paving Luteman-=Responsible for fine grading by utilizing hand tools such as lute.

• Perform manual labor which can include, but is not limited to, raking, shoveling, and hooking
  
  

up pumps, installing pipe, mixing concrete, carrying materials,

• Assist with traffic control as needed
• Work in outdoor environments consisting of, but not limited to, cold, heat, dust, smoke, rain
  
  

and other extreme conditions as needed to complete work assigned

• Ensure equipment is only operated in a safe manner and inspected before each use
• Wear all PPE as required per safety manual and OSHA regulations
• Maintain ability to lift 50 lbs
• Maintain ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  
  

The responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Operate all heavy equipment as requested including but not limited to: pavers, excavators,
  
  

dozers, loaders, brooms, trucks, skid steers, rollers etc.

• Rake, shovel, and prepare surfaces for asphalt installation
• Install asphalt using equipment and tools provided
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Load equipment and material on trucks at end of day
