Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and other machinery.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues efficiently.
Respond promptly to service calls and provide on-site support to foreman and operators.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and field employees to explain repairs and provide recommendations.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in heavy equipment maintenance is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment and work in various weather conditions.
