Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Powersports Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and personal watercraft. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on powersports vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding service recommendations and repairs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in powersports technology.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in powersports or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a technician in the powersports industry or similar mechanical field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver’s license; motorcycle endorsement is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
