About Us
ValidSync's mission: We turn 50 siloed systems into one you can trust. Every state licenses contractors differently, in its own system, with its own rules. ValidSync connects those records into one verified source of contractor identity, so the platforms, insurers, and data companies that depend on contractors can make decisions they can stand behind. We're a founder led startup built in Albuquerque, and we're working with some of the biggest names in housing and insurance data. Validate once. Stay in Sync. validsync.ai
Position Overview
We're looking for a driven Marketing & Business Development Intern to join our team! This is a rare chance to do real enterprise business development at an early stage startup, not busywork. You'll work alongside the founder to find and reach decision makers at data buyers, book meetings that move the company forward, and help shape how ValidSync shows up on LinkedIn. You'll leave with a portfolio of results you can point to and a network across New Mexico's startup ecosystem. This is a facilitated internship through UNM.

Draft weekly B2B LinkedIn posts for the founder and engage with target accounts on LinkedIn
Turn what you learn in outreach into content ideas that warm up data buyers
Keep our pipeline organized and current in Notion

Must be a currently enrolled UNM student, undergraduate or graduate
Business students with a focus or interest in marketing or sales preferred
Strong, concise writing, in both a cold email and a LinkedIn post
Curiosity about B2B sales, data, or startups
Comfortable reaching out to senior people at large companies
Organized, reliable, and able to hit weekly goals with little hand holding
