What are the responsibilities and job description for the Court Researcher position at Validata?

We are looking for a person to conduct research within the courthouse during business office hours , which are Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 4PM. A primary courthouse will be utilized will require visits to multiple courthouses daily. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, accurate data-entry skill set and with a background and understanding in legal language and process. This will be a 1099-private contractor position.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough research on various criminal and civil matters.In-person reviewing of documents within the courthousePerform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records and databases.Collaborate with team-members for relaying of information and updates.Organize and manage files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible.Able to write down necessary information as provided from the court and transfer into digital system.Analyze data findings and present insights to team members in a clear and concise manner.QualificationsUnderstanding of legal language and legal process.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.Familiarity with office procedures and administrative tasks.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, will require to interact with clerks.A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical abilities.If you are passionate about research and eager to contribute to a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Expected hours: 35 – 40 per weekSchedule: Monday to Friday Company DescriptionValidata Is a background investigation firm established in 2008 in California.
