What are the responsibilities and job description for the TST C4ISR Engineer position at Valiant Integrated Services?
Duties: Administers, deploys, manages, monitors, upgrades, migrates, and designs Microsoft Exchange 2010 SP2 servers to support day-to-day operations and deployed events to include installing and deploying servers. Manages Exchange Server infrastructure, conducts server upgrades, plans and implements disaster recovery solutions, and monitors and maintains the messaging system. Designs and deploys security for the Exchange organization. Designs and deploys Exchange Server availability and recovery. Designs and deploys messaging compliance, system monitoring, and reporting. Plans and executes upgrades to Microsoft Exchange 2013 or other future software release updates as directed by the Government. Designs, integrates, maintains, and troubleshoots Microsoft Structure Query Language (SQL) 2008 R2 database instances in the enterprise computing environment to support day-to-day operations and during deployed events. Plans and executes upgrades to Microsoft SQL 2012 R2 or other future software release updates as directed by the Government. Assists the Government representative in completing required documentation for IT Procurement Request Review/Approval System (ITPRAS) per Government policy. (The Government representative will be responsible for the review, validation, approval and final submission of ITPRAS documentation.) Installs, maintains, and administers DoD Public Key Infrastructure Cryptographic Logon (CLO) services on MSTP Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network NIPRNET and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET). Ensures anonymity is denied to the maximum extent possible. Maintains operations by ensuring that "Temporary Exception Users" are not denied access to systems due to a users' inability to obtain or use a PKI hardware token. Assesses and manages risks associated with information technology resources. Evaluates threats, risks, and vulnerabilities and develops countermeasures to ensure continuation in the event of an IT services disruption. Individual must have experience in advanced planning, troubleshooting and maintenance skills on the Microsoft server platform and Cisco router, switch and firewall configuration and SONET configuration/architecture. Individual must have a strong understanding of technology integration and information flow including LAN/WAN, firewalls, security, storage, and backup methodologies. Inidividual must have experience with specific product lines (Cisco, Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard, and Tripwire), understand the RMF Assess and Authorize process and Cyber Security requirements.
OPERATIONAL EXPERIENCE
In lieu of an Bachelor's's Degree, a minimum of (8) eight years' experience in Network Architecture design and implementation. .
CIVILIAN EDUCATION
Individuals performing this requirement must have a minimum BA or BS degree in Network Management or a related field and a minimum of (8) eight years' experience in Network Architecture design and implementation. .
SYSTEM EXPERIENCE
Possess experience in C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) is a broad term that refers to "systems, procedures and techniques used to collect and disseminate information
Required: MS Windows Server Environments, VMWare vSphere Environments
Desired: Cisco Infrastructure, SAN Technologies, Encryption Technologies, vulnerability assessment tools such as Retina
Proof of Security Clearance: Must be eligible for at least a secret clearance with SSBI investigation to be eligible for privilege user rights on MSTP network services.
