What are the responsibilities and job description for the LTP CEMA Coach position at Valiant Integrated Services?
DUTIES:
- Works under the direction of the LTP Senior Brigade Coach.
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert in US Army operations at the brigade combat team headquarters level (focus on Cyber Operations integration with the Warfighting functions) with emphasis on developing sound tactical plans consistent with the Brigade Combat Team commander’s orders and intent.
- Acts as lead facilitator assisting the BCT staff in a 7 – 8 day guided staff planning exercise designed to refine the unit’s internal planning procedures.
- Provides the brigade commander and staff with doctrinally-correct and timely “best practice” feedback throughout this period in order to improve unit planning, coordination, integration, and synchronization skills.
- Work is performed primarily in a classroom environment but, on occasion, may be performed in a tactical field environment.
- Conducts reviews and provides comments on US Army and Joint doctrinal publications as directed.
- Must be able to work non-standard schedules based on mission requirements that include extended hours and/or weekends.
- Must be able to travel unaccompanied to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office programs of Word and Power Point.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Former active duty field grade officer.
- Experience in planning and executing Electromagnetic Warfare (Electromagnetic Attack, Electromagnetic Protection, and Electromagnetic Warfare Support).
- Experience in planning and executing Offensive Cyber Operations and Defensive Cyber Operations. Experience with and understanding of BCT and DIV-level tactical operations, planning using the MDMP, IPB, targeting, network protection, and cyber mission profiles.
- Experience with Army tactical communications systems and networks.
- Military Education Level IV.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous assignments as Cyber Operations Planner at a Joint Cyber Center or in the G3/5/7 of USCYBERCOM or ARCYBER, or in the Cyber Operations Integrated Planning Element of a COCOM;
- previous assignment as a planner on a Cyber Protection Team, Cyber Support Team, or Cyber Mission Team in 780th MI BDE (Cyber).
- Experience with and understanding of cyber national mission force organization and planning, and tactical, short-term offensive cyber operations planning.
- Former Army Service School instructor/small group leader or Task Force Senior Observer/Coach/Trainer at Combat Training Center.
- Recent and relevant operational experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations.
- Must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license.
- Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening. Will be subject to random drug screening.
