Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Produce realistic Battlefield Effects using simulators, training devices and pyrotechnics without assistance in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
- Operate and maintain all assigned equipment to prescribed standards to include operation of All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV).
- Must train and become proficient in military map reading using the Military Grid Reference System.
- Work during both daylight hours and during periods of limited visibility while using (NVGs) Night Vision Goggles,
- Work under all weather conditions and in a wide variety of terrain.
- Follow all instructions from Shift Leader and perform tasks in compliance with all applicable corporate and local regulations, policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned consistent with mission requirements and occupational specialty.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be capable of completing safety certification program prior to performing duties.
- Experience reading military maps and in military radio-telephone procedures.
- Class “D’ driver’s license.
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently when needed.
- Must train and become proficient in military map reading using the Military Grid Reference System.
- Must become proficient in military communications procedures.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts outdoors and react quickly to schedule changes.
- Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries.
- Individual must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening and will be subject to random drug screening.
- Must possess a valid Louisiana State Driver’s License (or equivalent).
- Employment contingent upon favorable company background investigation.
- Will have to acquire a post access card.

- Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to throw pyrotechnic a minimum of 20 meters.
