What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exercise Analyst II position at Valiant Integrated Services?
JOB SUMMARY:
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing Nuclear Weapon Accident / Incident (NUWAIX) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) exercise planning events and exercises. Activities include but are not limited to event note taking, preparing draft minutes, prepare and track exercise correspondence, assist in exercise design and development; and assisting in exercise assessments.
• Assist in providing realistic, current, and relevant exercise support to address DTRA, Interagency, and Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) requirements.
• Assist in exercise control support for Observer Controllers (O/C's) during execution of events.
• Attend all exercise JELC events (planning meeting, site surveys, etc.) and assist with Work Group planning/requirements.
• Assist with post-event activities as required, including after action reviews, hot washes, and after-action reports.

• Applicant selected must possess at a minimum a Secret Level Clearance and be eligible for a Top-Secret Level Clearance.
• Travel is 25% or greater and includes travel to national and international locations.
• Must have or be able to obtain a US Passport.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree or military experience. Emphasis in emergency management, international relations, political science, or similar disciplines will be given higher consideration. Relevant military experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools required. Emphasis placed on PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
PREFERENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience within the Interagency response community (DoD, FBI, DOE, DHS/FEMA, DOT, and EPA).
• Prior Department of Defense environment experience; military, government employee, or contractor.
• Experience in developing, planning and participating in Department of Defense training events or exercises.
