Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and dependable Local Commercial Dump Truck Drivers to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty dump trucks to support various job sites and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and construction site experience. This is a full-time and / or part-time position requiring safety awareness and mechanical aptitude to ensure efficient and safe transportation of materials across the Tri State Area.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a dump truck
- Transport materials to and from job sites in accordance with project schedules
- Perform daily inspections to ensure optimal functioning
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate tools when necessary
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment, including proper attire
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of documents for each haul
Skills
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) for at least 2 1/2 years, with a clean driving record
- Experience operating tri axle dump trucks
- Strong understanding of site safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members
- Physical ability to load/unload materials when necessary
Requirements
- Valid Class A / B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) - Required
- Minimum 2 ½ years of tri axle dump truck experience - Required
- Experience driving in New York City - Required
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination & drug screen - Required
- Authorized to work in the United States of America
