We are seeking a dedicated Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning, polishing, and detailing vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role involves working with various cleaning and buffing techniques to restore vehicles to their optimal appearance, contributing to a positive customer experience and the overall presentation of our dealership or auto service center.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning and polishing of vehicle exteriors and interiors, including washing, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces
- Use buffing machines and hand tools to remove scratches, oxidation, and imperfections from vehicle surfaces
- Conduct car washes using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques to maintain vehicle appearance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including janitorial duties as necessary
- Assist with light maintenance tasks related to vehicle detailing equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally
- Ensure all detailing work is completed efficiently while adhering to safety standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in car detailing, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Basic knowledge of buffing, polishing, and cleaning techniques for automotive surfaces
- Experience with car wash procedures and detailing supplies
- Ability to operate buffing machines and other detailing tools safely and effectively
- Customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Valid driver’s license for driving company vehicles or moving vehicles within the facility as needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching
Pay: $8.00 - $15.00 per hour
