Position Summary:
Vali, Inc. is seeking a Line Service Technician to support general aviation operations by providing essential services to aircraft, flight crews, and passengers. This role requires the ability to perform all essential job functions in a safe and efficient manner. Work may be performed in varying weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to jet engine fumes, dust, and high noise levels. Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
Position Responsibilities:
- Safely and accurately conduct flight line operations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Greet, park, tow, move, and marshal aircraft arriving or departing ramp area.
- Provide assistance to the maintenance department as requested.
- Maintain a safe and secure ramp
- Provide custodial service as needed
- Assist with wing-walking duties as required.
- Assist dispatch as needed.
- Perform FBO/Aircraft custodial services daily.
- Fuel/de-ice/pre-heat aircraft as requested.
- Perform other operational duties as requested
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand and comply with operational, safety, and customer service requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Must possess a valid state driver's license.
- Must successfully complete the Company's training programs.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance is required
- Must have strong communication skills required, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of simple arithmetic is required
Physical Requirements:
- Requires frequent walking
- Requires stretching, bending, and climbing
- Excellent vision and coordination to move or direct aircraft
- Requires medium to heavy lifting up to 75 pounds
