About Us:
Valhallan Esports is a premier youth esports training facility dedicated to cultivating the next generation of champions. Our mission is to provide a fun, safe, and educational environment where kids and teens can develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through competitive esports and training programs. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Assistant Arena Manager to lead our team, grow our business, and foster a coaching culture that inspires our players and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cultivate a Coaching Culture:
- Develop a positive, growth-oriented environment for our coaches and staff.
- Provide mentorship, training, and support to coaches, ensuring high-quality instruction and player development.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, teamwork, and accountability among all team members.
2. Lead and Manage a Team:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the arena, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Handle conflict resolution and maintain high staff morale.
- Implement and oversee training programs for new employees and coaches.
3. Drive Sales and Business Growth:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase membership, enrollment in camps, and event participation.
- Identify, generate, and follow up on leads to expand our member base.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals through active lead generation and community engagement.
4. Promote the Business:
- Be the face of Valhallan Esports in the community.
- Utilize social media, boots-on-the-ground marketing, and word-of-mouth tactics to increase brand awareness and drive customer traffic.
- Host and promote events, workshops, and tournaments to engage the community and showcase our offerings.
- Build strong relationships with schools, organizations, and local businesses to create partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
5. Maintain High Member Engagement & Retention:
- Create value for existing members by consistently enhancing their experience through new activities, workshops, and exclusive events.
- Actively seek and respond to member feedback to refine programs and improve overall satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with members and parents, ensuring their expectations are exceeded and that they feel valued within our community.
- Monitor and maintain a high engagement rate by tracking participation, analyzing trends, and implementing engagement strategies.
- Develop personalized growth plans for members and facilitate progress tracking to highlight their development.
6. Grow the Store Organically:
- Develop innovative marketing and outreach campaigns to attract new members and increase overall engagement.
- Engage actively on social media platforms to build an online presence and interact with the community.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, adjusting strategies to meet growth targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, team management, and business development.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- Passion for esports and understanding of the industry is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to achieve business goals.
- Experience in social media management, event planning, and grassroots marketing is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is a plus.
