Position Overview
Valhalla Management is seeking a dependable and organized Part-Time Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of an affordable housing community in Gravette, Arkansas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized, and can balance administrative responsibilities with resident relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the community in compliance with affordable housing regulations and company policies
- Process applications, certifications, and recertifications in accordance with HUD/LIHTC guidelines (as applicable)
- Maintain accurate resident files and property records
- Coordinate leasing activities, including showing units and executing leases
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing concerns and resolving issues professionally
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders and unit turns
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure community standards are upheld
- Monitor rent collections and follow up on delinquencies
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations
Qualifications
- Previous property management or leasing experience preferred (affordable housing experience a plus)
- Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, or LIHTC programs is a strong advantage
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, property management software)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
