Valet Park of America Seeking Directional Parking Attendants in the Hamden, CT Area for Events!
We are booking many special events for the upcoming seasons with some of our clients including but not limited to Quinnipiac University. We are seeking to build a team of PT staff who will work events in the area as needed.
Most shifts will be on weekends, with some weeknights as well. Some weeks could be 2-3 events per week, some weeks we may not have an event. This is a great fit for someone seeking to supplement their regular FT position or a student.
Pay: $19/hour

Minimum Requirements: – All Attendants are required to:
- Have your own transportation
- Have experience working in customer service
- Must speak fluent English to communicate effectively with customers
Physical Demands
- Standing and walking for the duration of your shift
- Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
Work environment – Outdoors for the duration of the shift. Inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc) will have a significant impact on the employees' work environment. Shifts will not be canceled due to inclement weather and all employees will be required to attend their scheduled shifts, and maintain a high quality of work despite weather conditions.
- All employees must undergo a criminal records check
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays when necessary
- Must have a neat appearance and a good attitude
- All employees are hired on a 30-day trial period. If during that time the employee does not perform their duties to the satisfaction of management, they can be terminated without cause
