Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from designated community areas using appropriate tools and safety procedures
- Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, planting, and landscape maintenance to enhance curb appeal
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as power tools, lawnmowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and effectively
- Identify plants, trees, and landscaping features to support horticulture efforts and ensure proper plant care
- Maintain safety protocols during outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Support snow plowing or hardscape maintenance during inclement weather to keep pathways clear and accessible
- Assist with irrigation system inspections, repairs, and adjustments to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or related fields preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools is highly desirable
- Familiarity with plant identification, pesticide management, and horticulture practices beneficial
- Experience operating groundskeeping machinery such as mowers, trimmers, or snow plows preferred
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including hardscape upkeep and irrigation system management is a plus
Pay: $24.71 - $29.76 per hour
