Valet Parking Attendant

Valet Guys of Knoxville is the fastest growing Valet business in and around the Knoxville area! We’re hiring dependable, responsible, friendly valet attendants who love helping people and working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll provide excellent customer service at private events such as weddings, parties, and fundraisers. We also do automotive service valet at Mercedes-Benz of Knoxville. The shifts are 7:30am to 6:00pm and anywhere in between. Private events have different times based on the event. Choose your own schedule. Candidates for this position must have outstanding customer service skills. Must be able to stand, run, and walk on pavement for several consecutive hours unless driving an event shuttle. All applicants will need to pass a background check in order to be considered for employment.

Responsibilities for Valet

• Greet and welcome guest to the establishment and offer professional valet services
• Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the event
• Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return
• Park guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following all traffic laws
• Operate vehicles safely and responsibly

Qualifications for Valet

• Proven safe driver and clean driving records is essential
• Ability to communicate professionally
• Customer service experience and friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a standing position for hours at a time
• Accountability and personal integrity are essential as the nature of the position allows access to a client's personal and private information
• Ability to multitask and tend to several customers at once
• Experience driving vehicles with both manual and automatic transmission
• Organizational skills are necessary to quickly recall the location of vehicles and their appropriate keys
