Position Available is on 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday, 3PM - 11PM); Overtime as necessary
What You Will Do
- You will set-up, process, and run “1st piece” for injection molding machines that manufacture plastic parts for headlight and tail light assemblies, ensuring quality parts are being manufactured
- You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and/or other management personnel to debug and troubleshoot any molding machine issues
- You are responsible for cleaning hoppers and preparing area for material changeovers
- You will make necessary equipment changeovers
- You will handle other job duties as assigned
- This position may require hot work, standing up to 100%, lifting up to 75 lbs, overhead work, kneeling, bending, crawling, pushing, pulling, climbing, and working at heights
- You have a minimum of 4 years of injection molding machine processing experience OR an Associate’s Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Plastic Engineering, Plastic Engineering Technology, or similar Plastic degree
- You have experience processing injection molding machines that manufacture highly cosmetic plastic parts
