Valenta Mental Health specializes in the treatment and recovery of Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Depression and other Mood Disorders. We are looking for motivated Clinical Therapists to join our team in: delivering exceptional patient care by providing individualized treatment for each patient, encouraging individual and professional development of self and all staff therapists, exhibiting great self-awareness and team cohesion, and having compassion for self and others. Position: Full time, M-F business hours Start date: ASAP Job Description: Develop and coordinate clinical treatment plans for assigned patients, present weekly progress/struggles during treatment team, and develop appropriate discharge planning Provide individual sessions, family/conjoint therapy, group counseling, education and other appropriate and required meetings Demonstrate ability to consult with other professional providers to provide appropriate treatment for the patient Perform intake assessments, psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention of patients with psychiatric disorders Chart patient’s treatment and progress in accordance with state regulations and department procedures, and facilitate ancillary services/community referrals Interpret psychiatric treatment to appropriate supports and help to reduce fear and other attitudes obstructing acceptance of psychiatric care and continuation of treatment and will maintain regular contact with families, outside clinicians, referring parties, and report safety concerns to mandated reporting agenciesParticipate in in-service training and individual/group supervision meeting and any other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: Associates in: MFT, LCSW, or LPCC Desire to develop professionally, and work with patients living with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and associated comorbidities Knowledge of base concepts of CBT or DBT is preferred Must be able to respond well to a rapid and fluctuating interdependent work environment, have strong organizational skills, and be able to work well within a multidisciplinary team Candidate must also possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal Compensation: Opportunity to work with, and learn from, a uniquely dedicated and professional multidisciplinary treatment team – in person and on site Valenta offers a strong benefit package with Salary, CEUs, 401k, healthcare, PTO, etc
