Production Operator, Nutraceutical Manufacturing Position Summary
The Production Technician supports the manufacturing of nutraceutical products by operating equipment, monitoring production processes, packaging finished goods, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. This role follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
Essential Job Functions
· Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment.
· Follow SOPs, GMPs, and safety protocols at all times.
· Perform basic equipment setup, adjustments, and cleaning.
· Package, label, and palletize finished products according to specifications.
· Record production data and report any equipment or material issues.
· Maintain clean and organized work areas, including routine plant and equipment cleaning.
· Assist with material handling and warehousing tasks as needed.
Minimum Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
· Manufacturing experience preferred, especially in nutraceutical, food, or related industries.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
· Basic math, reading, and documentation skills.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
· Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching.
· Exposure to machinery, airborne particles, and varying noise levels.
· Required use of PPE.
