Analytical Chemist
Position Summary
Valensa is currently seeking a detail-oriented Analytical Chemist to perform analytical testing and support quality operations in a GMP laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will have hand-on experience with analytical instrumentation, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical testing (GC, HPLC, Titration, FTIR) on raw materials and finished products.
- Review, organize, and maintain laboratory documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, regulatory, corporate and customer requirements.
- Conduct Out-of-Specification (OOS) and Out-of-Trend (OOT) investigations.
- Work directly with vendors and third-party contract laboratories.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- 3 years analytical chemistry experience.
- Solid understanding of laboratory practices and analytical activities.
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and database applications.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Ability to interpret technical information, strong problem-solvent skills and perform complex mathematical functions.
- Physically capable of performing job functions.
- Scheduling and monitoring daily lab activities
- Experience in an R&D laboratory environment is a plus.
