Role Description


This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative based in Stevenson Ranch, CA. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with experience in the labeling or barcode industry who thrives in a flexible, performance-based environment.


The position focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing and growing existing accounts, and delivering tailored labeling and printing solutions to industrial clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and presenting effective sales proposals, recommending appropriate printer systems, matching materials to application needs, and educating customers on best practices.


You will work closely with internal teams while maintaining autonomy in the field, building strong, long-term relationships with clients and consistently working toward sales goals.



Key Responsibilities


• Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities within industrial markets

• Manage and expand existing customer accounts

• Sell labeling solutions including labels, ribbons, barcode printers, and software

• Recommend and configure printer solutions based on customer needs

• Match materials and ribbon compatibility to specific applications

• Educate customers on products, applications, and industry best practices

• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution



Qualifications


• Proven experience in industrial labels, barcode printing, or a related industry

• Strong understanding of thermal printing methods, materials, and ribbon compatibility

• Demonstrated success in sales presentations and new business development

• Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment



Position Details


• 1099 Independent Contractor role

• Commission-based compensation with stipend support

• Flexible schedule with remote or territory-based work structure
