JOB SUMMARY
The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing the day’s transactions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This role supports the team by providing exceptional customer service during the overnight shift, contributing to the overall operations of the hotel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS

Operational Responsibilities
-
Perform nightly audit of hotel transactions and ensure accuracy.

Prepare and distribute daily reports to management.

Handle reservations, cancellations, and guest inquiries during the night shift.

Guest Services
-
Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.

Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.

Ensure guest satisfaction by accommodating special requests.

Team Support and Training
-
Assist in training new night auditors as needed.

Support team performance by collaborating with colleagues.

Communication and Reporting
-
Communicate effectively with the front office manager and other departments.

Report any incidents or safety concerns immediately.

Follow all hotel policies and procedures.

Adhere to safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.

Previous experience in a night audit or accounting role is preferred

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous experience in a night audit or accounting role is a plus
