The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting.
Work is performed in shop conditions and can be more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.

Job Summary

- Must be able to mix and measure paint per specifications.
- Review work order and confirm mixed paint and part match, prior to painting in booth
- Clean parts as per specification Paint part according to specification and thickness
- Keep paint booth filters changed, booth FOD free and complete paperwork
- Post paint inspection of parts for appearance and proper coverage
- Able to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals
- Applies some advanced skills that allow employee to adapt and meet some complex or non-routine situations
- Observe safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing during spray painting operations
- Complete the paint daily checklist
- Properly utilizes all PPE required under OSHA Guidelines
- Maintains all paint equipment
- Other duties as assigned
