- 2. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to understand plating project requirements and develop tooling solutions to meet those needs.
- 3. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed tooling projects, presenting recommendations to management for approval.
- 4. Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for tooling designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- 5. Oversee the fabrication and assembly of tooling and fixtures, working with external vendors or in-house teams to ensure timely delivery and quality.
- 6. Perform testing and validation of new tooling designs, making adjustments as needed to optimize performance.
- 7. Support the maintenance team in the maintenance and repair of existing tooling and fixtures to ensure their continued effectiveness.
- 8. Collaborate with quality control teams to conduct inspections and ensure that tooling meets required specifications and quality standards.
- 9. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction through the optimization of tooling and fixture designs.
- 10. Stay up-to-date with advancements in tooling technology and industry best practices, incorporating new knowledge into tooling design and development.

- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify engineering drawings.
