Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Organizes assigned area to ensure ready access to and knowledge of all orders currently in process on a daily work basis
- Effectively communicates with customer service regarding work that is in the area or coming to the area for processing
- Works closely with Production Manager and Supervisor on other shifts/departments to determine daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules
- Maintains schedule and discusses labor needs as workload changes
- Maintains the inventory levels and supplies, communicating back to purchasing if/as required
- Maintains and monitors appropriate documentation on all orders
- Organizes work to be done and assigns accordingly, follows dashboard requirements to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Works with supervisor and manager to resolve problems as needed
- Trains employees and monitors their performance
- Resolves technical problems and challenges by involving the appropriate people in order to keep production moving, to meet/exceed customer expectations
- Works with the appropriate personnel and participates in continuous improvement activities always looking for new ways to do the job with eye to reducing cost, streamlining processes, and increasing throughput Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred
Experience: 6 plus months of experience in manufacturing
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
