Job Summary
Valebase Systems is seeking independent field technicians for occasional IT and low-voltage assignments around Morgantown, WV.
This is side work for extra money. It is not a full-time position, does not provide guaranteed hours, and should not be treated as a primary source of income.
Typical Assignments
- Computer, printer, POS, kiosk, and network hardware work
- Equipment installation, replacement, and troubleshooting
- Cable tracing and basic low-voltage work
- Site surveys, smart-hands support, and project closeout documentation
How it Works
- Assignments are offered individually as work becomes available
- You may accept or decline each assignment
- Scope, location, schedule, and compensation are provided before acceptance
- Work volume varies, and some weeks may have no assignments
- This is a non-exclusive 1099 independent-contractor opportunity
Requirements
- Reliable transportation, smartphone, and basic field tools
- Professional appearance and customer communication
- Ability to follow instructions, take clear photos, and document completed work
- Dependability after accepting an assignment
