Vale Healthy Kitchen is hiring a General Manager to lead our Tampa location — one of nine stores in our growing South Florida portfolio. We're a chef-driven, health-forward fast casual concept built around made-to-order bowls, wraps, and grain plates, cooked exclusively in extra virgin olive oil and rooted in Mediterranean, Asian, and Latin influences.
This is a high-impact leadership role for an operator who wants to run a real business — not just manage shifts. You'll own the P&L, build the team, and shape the guest experience at one of our most strategic locations.
About Vale
We've built Vale from the ground up into a nine-unit brand with a loyal following of health-conscious professionals, athletes, gym-goers, and busy families across South Florida. Our growth roadmap includes additional Florida locations over the next 24 months, and we're investing heavily in the leadership bench that will get us there.
The Opportunity
- Lead an established, high-volume store with strong fundamentals and a built-in guest base
- Step into a company small enough that your work is visible to ownership and big enough to offer a real career path
- Work alongside an experienced Area Manager, Director of Culinary, and Operations team
- Be considered first for Training Manager and multi-unit roles as we expand
What You'll Own
- Full P&L responsibility — sales, labor, food cost, and operating profit
- Hiring, training, and developing a team of 20-30 hourly team members and shift leads
- Daily execution of food quality, hospitality, cleanliness, and speed of service standards
- Local store marketing, community partnerships, and catering growth in the Tampa market
- Weekly KPI reporting and partnership with corporate on operational improvements
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally in fast casual or high-volume full service
- Demonstrated success managing labor (24-26%) and food cost targets
- Strong people leader — someone who develops talent rather than just retains it
- Comfortable with restaurant technology (POS, scheduling, inventory, BI reporting)
- Genuine alignment with a health-forward food philosophy
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Open availability including nights and weekends
Compensation & Benefits
- $60,000 – $70,000 base salary, based on experience
- Quarterly performance bonus ($1000 – $2,000 ) tied to store P&L
