Valdese Weavers is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) company and has been in business for over 100 years. As one of the largest woven textile mills in the world, Valdese Weavers designs and manufactures residential and contract-grade fabrics for furniture manufacturers, fabric distributors, and large retailers.
Job Summary:
Partner with the development and manufacturing team to drive quality improvement initiatives through the ISO-9001 Quality Management System.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate with key customers and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
Implement methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products and production equipment.
Familiarity with industry-based quality standards and test procedures.
Inspect final products to ensure they comply with industry standards.
Assist in training production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Safety:
Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.
Report all job-related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor as soon as possible.
Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
Maintain 5S standards.
PPE as Required by policy and guidelines.
