Pay Rate: $16.40

Job Summary: Move and store fabric as needed.
Essential Functions: Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards:
- Move and store fabric as it goes through the Finishing processes
- Maintain electronic records (LXE gun and computer) showing location of fabric
- Prepare fabric for shipment and/or storage.
- Properly identify fabric with appropriate labels and tickets, being sure all data matches.
- Return fabric to proper storage location.
- Keep work area clean. Maintain good housekeeping.
- Work scheduled overtime.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Safety:
- Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.
- Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
- Safety belt/harness when using PIT.
- Maintain 5 S standards.
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Be able to follow special instructions and directions.
- Forklift license is required for moving buggies and lifting fabric to storage tubes.
- Basic computer skills and use of LXE gun.
