Pay Rate: $16.40
Shift Premium & Attendance Bonus: $17.02

Job Summary: Cut fabric to correct size for various samples and memos.

Tools and Equipment used: Electric scissors, electric cutter, tape measure, yardstick.

Essential Functions: Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards:

• Roll out fabric to measure, mark and cut requested size on pattern sheet.
• Check to make sure the sample is woven correctly.
• Check if the sample is railroaded or not and cut accordingly.
• Cut samples needed on a pinking machine based on specifications.
• Help pull colorlines for shipping.
• Help sew headers on colorlines.
• Work scheduled overtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Safety:

• Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.
• Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
• Maintain 5 S standards.
• Some heavy lifting required.

Qualifications:

• Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others.
• Good reading, writing, and basic math skills.
