We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support complex industrial construction projects within the pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing industries. This role will oversee projects involving major piping systems, electrical infrastructure, building construction, and reactor installation while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.
The ideal candidate has a strong background managing construction projects in highly regulated industrial environments and is experienced coordinating multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project execution.
\n- Manage industrial construction projects from planning and design through construction, commissioning, and project closeout
- Lead projects involving process piping, electrical systems, structural/building construction, equipment setting, and reactor installation
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and applicable industry regulations
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and mitigate risks related to schedule, scope, cost, and constructability
- Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and maintain clear communication with clients and project teams
- Review and coordinate construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Support commissioning, startup, and turnover activities for process and facility systems
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, GMP requirements, OSHA standards, and site-specific safety protocols
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required
- 5 years of project management experience supporting pharmaceutical, chemical, or industrial construction projects
- Strong background managing projects involving piping systems, electrical construction, building/facility construction, and heavy industrial equipment installation
- Experience with reactor installation and process system integration
- Knowledge of industrial construction practices, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
