Sr. Estimator (72704)

Qualifications / Experience Level

• Senior-level estimating experience within commercial construction, preferably in waterproofing, building restoration, concrete repair, façade restoration, roofing, or related specialty trades.

• Typically 7 years of progressive estimating experience, including independently managing complex or high-value commercial projects.

• Advanced knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, quantity takeoffs, labor productivity, material pricing, subcontractor management, and proposal development.

• Proven ability to develop comprehensive estimates, evaluate project risks, and implement competitive pricing strategies.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, project scheduling, cost control, and operational requirements.

• Experience leading bid reviews, coordinating cross-functional teams, and supporting project handoffs.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize competing bid opportunities.

• Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and other construction management tools.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior estimators and contribute to process improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
