Job Description

Valcourt is seeking a high-energy Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing inside sales team based out of our Jenkintown / Philadelphia office. This position is critical to our continued growth and is focused on generating qualified appointments for our outside sales team across the Metro Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware territories.

As the first point of contact with prospective commercial clients, your goal is to initiate meaningful conversations, qualify potential customers, and schedule appointments that drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is highly organized, results-oriented, comfortable making outbound calls, and proficient in Salesforce and Zoom-based outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to generate qualified sales appointments for outside sales representatives.
  • Use Salesforce CRM to manage lead lists, document outreach efforts, and track progress toward weekly/monthly targets.
  • Leverage phone, email, and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom) to connect with prospective commercial property managers, facility engineers, and building owners.
  • Coordinate with field sales reps to ensure timely follow-up and seamless hand-off of qualified leads.
  • Support marketing and sales campaigns by executing outreach plans and tracking appointment conversion rates.
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance metrics related to appointments set, new account activations, and contribution to revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or business development preferred
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Zoom is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work full-time on-site from our Jenkintown / Philadelphia (Brewerytown) office
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple outreach campaigns
