Job Description - Specific Job Requirements - Duties & Responsibilities
- Must possess a good driving and safety record
- Must have Class B CDL (Class A Preferred), with endorsements for type of equipment operated
- Must possess a valid DOT Physical Card
- Must have a good working knowledge of securing loads
- Must possess basic mechanical skills and knowledge.
- Ability to read maps and independently plan trips.
- Must be familiar with routes on Fort Polk and in the immediate areas
- Must pass random and scheduled drug testing.
- Perform operation of a variety of vehicles including vans, busses, box trucks, stake trucks.
- Conducts daily operator inspection for vehicles operated.
- Completes trip tickets entering required information for all jobs
Other Requirements:
Endorsement: "P" Passenger endorsement required
Restrictions: "63" Airbrakes restriction required
Working knowledge of the following:
44 Passenger bus operations
Tractor/Trailer operations. Including proper hookup/disconnect from trailer
RGN operations is a plus
All Contractor personnel performing work under this contract must complete a favorable background investigation and be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC).
