Valcor Group is assembling a selective on-call response team for security assignments throughout Los Angeles County. We are hiring up to 10 reliable professionals who can accept short-notice assignments and arrive at the assigned client site within 60 minutes of accepting an assignment.
This is part-time, on-call employment for professionals who want flexibility. Team members typically receive 1–3 shift offers per week, depending on client demand. Hours and assignments are not guaranteed, and this is not a full-time schedule.
Pay and assignment details
- $22 per hour
- Assignments throughout Los Angeles County
- Must be able to arrive on site within 60 minutes after accepting an assignment
- Assignment times and locations vary based on client needs
- Up to 10 openings
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional, visible security presence at client properties
- Support access control, loss prevention, and concierge-style security functions
- Observe, document, and promptly report incidents or unusual activity
- Use calm verbal de-escalation and sound judgment when responding to concerns
- Follow site instructions, post orders, and Valcor reporting standards
- Maintain discretion, professionalism, and a customer-service mindset
Required qualifications
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card
- Experience in security, loss prevention, concierge, or another customer-facing service role
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Los Angeles County
- Ability to accept short-notice assignments and meet the 60-minute response requirement
- Strong verbal communication and de-escalation skills
- Professional appearance and composure under pressure
