Part Time - Deli Associate

Role Overview: This position involves independently preparing, frying, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli and bakery products to contribute to store profitability, guest experience, and compliance with safety and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce bakery and deli items according to production plans.
• Package, label, and merchandise products following program and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with fresh products, rotating and dating cases.
• Communicate with team members about supplies, recipes, and cleaning procedures.
• Follow PPE, safety, food safety, and guest service guidelines.
• Assist in tasks across departments as needed to enhance customer experience.
• Notify managers of supply needs and maintain cleanliness and organization.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Basic math, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret documents.
  
  

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform bending, stooping, and twisting. Environment includes varied temperatures and possible outside weather exposure.
