- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on cranes by reading diagrams, schematics, manuals, and blueprints
- Identify, diagnose, and replace crane components, including electrical, drivetrain, engine, hydraulics, and computer-controlled systems
- Examine parts for damage and wear, request replacement parts, and ensure safety and environmental compliance
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Travel periodically for field service, collect parts, and operate a company service truck
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical diagnostics experience
- Training or experience in electrical and mechanical systems
- Mechanic background with ability to identify crane components
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a service truck
