Seeking a Senior Editor for a mission-driven, award-winning magazine read by 1 million kids in grades 4-6. The role is based in NYC with a flexible in-office schedule.

Responsibilities include

• pitching and researching engaging, curriculum-connected articles in various formats
• writing 2-4 high-quality articles per issue with minimal supervision
• collaborating with art teams on visuals and covers
• creating scripts for educational videos
• developing lesson plans, activities, and digital assets
• fact-checking with experts and conducting research
• participating in class visits and presentations
