The Manager Credit/Collections oversees a team responsible for credit risk assessment, receivables management, collections, dispute resolution, reporting, compliance, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Credit Risk Management: Evaluate customer creditworthiness, set credit limits, monitor payment behavior, and recommend account actions.
- Collections Management: Supervise collection activities, review aging reports, support payment arrangements, and collaborate with internal/external partners.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, assign tasks, monitor performance, and resolve operational issues.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare performance reports, ensure adherence to policies, and analyze data to identify trends and risks.
- Process Improvement & Stakeholder Support: Identify efficiencies, partner with cross-functional teams, and support system enhancements.
- 3 years in credit, collections, finance, or related fields.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing operations and using financial systems.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, supervisory experience, knowledge of receivables management, and cross-team collaboration skills.
