Position: ETL Informatica IDMC QA Engineer

Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid- 3 days/week)

Job Description:

Own end-to-end QA strategy and execution for Informatica Multi-Domain MDM SaaS (Cloud) implementations Validate Product and Vendor domain models, including attributes, hierarchies, classifications, and cross-domain relationships.

Design and execute test cases for:

• Data pipelines using CDI (Cloud Data Integration)
• Data quality rules using CDQ (profiling, cleansing, validation)
• Integration workflows using CAI (API-led, event-driven)
• Perform end-to-end data validation across ingestion, transformation, mastering, and publication layers
• Validate match/merge logic, survivorship rules, and data consistency mechanisms
• Test publication frameworks and outbound distribution (APIs, Kafka, event-driven pipelines)

Ensure validation of:

• RBAC and security models
• Data governance and stewardship workflows
• Develop and execute test strategies for performance, scalability, and high-volume data processing
• Integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines and multi-environment deployments

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve:

• Data quality issues
• Integration failures
• Performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with solution architects, MDM developers, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery

Required Skills (Strict / Non-Negotiable)

• 8–12 years of QA experience with recent hands-on Informatica MDM SaaS (Cloud / IDMC)
• Strong experience in testing Informatica Multi-Domain MDM SaaS (Cloud) implementations
• Proven expertise in Product and/or Vendor (Supplier) domain validation
• Strong understanding of data modeling validation, including:
• Product catalogs, hierarchies, classifications
• Vendor/supplier domain relationships
• Cross-domain relationships (Product ↔ Vendor)

Hands-on QA experience across:

• CDI (Cloud Data Integration)
• CDQ (Cloud Data Quality)
• CAI (Cloud Application Integration)
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation
• Experience validating:
• Match/Merge & survivorship rules
• Publication frameworks and outbound data flows
• Familiarity with Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms
• Experience with RBAC, governance models, and audit validation
• Experience in performance testing and scalability validation in cloud environments
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, release management, and multi-environment QA

Must-Have Experience

• QA validation for at least one full Informatica MDM SaaS (Cloud) implementation (Product or Vendor domain) in production
• Hands-on validation of IDMC pipelines (batch real-time)
• Experience testing solutions built directly on Informatica MDM SaaS UI and services
