Join Vail Mountain Dining’s colorful cast of characters for the 2014 summer season! We are searching for quality-driven, hospitality-oriented individuals, who are looking to work with a team that is committed to excellence. Join us and have your experience of a lifetime! This is an entry-level position requiring a strong work ethic. This individual typically has 0 to 6 months of culinary experience, and must be willing to work in a fast-paced, casual restaurant.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- This individual will develop basic culinary knowledge and competent knife skills and will handle own station, work off prep list and complete station setup in time allotted, fabricate items to standard during service, and complete prep list for next day
- This position involves prepping food, setting up, taking down and cleaning serving stations, serving at a station making burritos, sandwiches, pizzas, serving soups, and other duties as assigned
- Must practice good personal hygiene, safe food handling and culinary skills within the restaurant
- Must understand and follow all safety policies
- This is guest facing position, and requires the ability to work well with others
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs - required.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours - required.
- Must be fluent in English - required.
- Ability to communicate effectively is a must - required.
- Ability to understand and meet standards of speed and quality - required.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays - required.
- High school diploma or equivalent - preferred.
Compensation: Starting at $10.00/hr
