Job Summary
As part of the eCommerce Web team the Quality Assurance Analyst role will be responsible for testing the features implemented by the development team. This role initiates tests, analyzes results, troubleshoots systems and collaborates with teams to find solutions to technical problems. This role is also expected to be a thought leader with regard to advancing Vail Resort's quality assurance capability maturity.
Responsibilities:
- Design and document test plans for projects
- Define and execute test cases for web applications based on software requirements and technical specifications
- Record and document results and compare to expected results
- Analyze testing from the client's perspective; empathy for client use
- Improve the maturity of the regression scripting and execution process
- Works with an open and collaborative style
- Participate in application planning meetings
- Work in an Agile development team required
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of quality assurance experience
- Experience developing and creating test cases, test plans and test scripts
- Experience with functional, regression, ad-hoc and Agile testing and extensive software testing
- The ability to create and maintain test plans and test results
- Experience with Web testing
- Experience with Ecommerce
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

- Self-starter and active learner
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Experience with various testing tools including automation tools is a plus
