- Take reservations and maintain reservation system.
- Welcome guests and show them to their table.
- Prepare and maintain seating chart for dining periods.
- Communicates all necessary and important information with the Restaurant Manager and the entire Food and Beverage team.
- Capable of multi-tasking and working at a fast but thorough pace
- Complete all sidework that has been assigned
- Attends the daily pre-shift meeting to learn any important daily information
- Adheres to all grooming and uniform standards and is productive and professional during entire shift
- Communicate reservations for dining periods with kitchen and service staff.
- Clean and maintain Host/Hostess and waiting areas.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to communicate English
- Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred
- Previous restaurant experience - Required
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time
