The Bombers program is a seven week program running on Saturdays and Sundays from January 3rd through March 1st for children of all abilities and ages 3-14. Students will work with the same coach learning important group and teamwork skills all season while receiving training based on improving fundamental skills of skiing. Our goal is to ignite passion for skiing while providing effective coaching that supports fundamental skill development. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coaching children ages 3-14 in a manner that promotes group goal-setting, teamwork, and efficient skill development.
- Upholding the highest levels of guest safety on varied terrain in high altitude, with varying winter weather conditions.
- Evaluating child development and communicating with parents regarding development of their child.
- Able to physically, clearly, and accurately describe and perform maneuvers at all levels of our Alpine instruction model
- Following all company policies and procedures.
- Able to work cooperatively with staff from Ski and Ride School as well as other departments to ensure a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience for all of our guests
- Must work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at the same time
- Must be fluent in all aspects of the English language, written and spoken
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children in a group recreation setting
- Proficiency in all aspects of the English language, written and spoken
- Ability to pass a Background check and our Fit to Ride Fitness Assessment
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience teaching skiing to children
- Guest Service skills and communication skills with children and adults alike
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
