Beaver Creek Adult Ski & Snowboard School Supervisor - Full Time, Winter Seasonal

The Adult Group Lesson Supervisor is a member of the Beaver Creek Ski and Snowboard School management team who is responsible for the overall quality of group lessons at the resort. This position will manage a family of instructors, while at the same time work directly with the other adult supervisors and product sales team.
This position has the following responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
• Schedule staff and maintain appropriate staff levels
• Manage and coach instructors and complete performance appraisals for a family of instructors
• Program quality control
• Workplace safety as well as support and execute safety initiatives
• Overall morale of program staff
• Hiring and training
• Communication
• Drive value for the company
• Maintain and promote teamwork
• Self development
• Continuous and superior guest relations
• Administrative duties
• Daily operational duties and maintenance of physical assets, and other duties as assigned
In addition this position will work closely with their peers and other departments to role model the company's values and create the 'experience of a lifetime' for all resort guests and the staff.
Qualifications:
- Must submit 2 letters of recommendation, and a current resume - required
- PSIA Level 3 certification - required
- Must understand and deliver exceptional guest service
- Leadership experience in a Vail Resorts ski school - required
- Strong computer skills - required
- Strong leadership skills a must
- Must be 18 years or older - required
- High School diploma or equivalent - required
- Must be able to read, write, speak, understand and comprehend English fluently - required
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays throughout the season - required
- Must be able to work from October 22, 2014 - April 17, 2015 - required
- Able to communicate in Spanish - preferred
- Two years previous supervisory experience, ski school or other - preferred
- Product Sales experience - preferred
- RPOS experience - preferred
