Part Time Retail Sales ASSOCIATE

Vail Valley Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused part-time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. We are a locally owned and operated, full-service independent pharmacy specializing in compounding and supplements, with a robust retail selection of gifts, bath and beauty products, baby needs and toys, wine and liquor, and more.

The Retail Sales Associate plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our customers and keeping the retail side of the store organized, stocked, and running smoothly. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in their work, and works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive customer service and assist customers with product questions and purchases
• Operate the cash register and accurately handle cash and other forms of payment
• Receive, unpack, price, and stock merchandise
• Maintain computer-based inventory, including ordering and receiving products
• Keep shelves and displays organized, stocked, and presentable
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with retail and pharmacy team members
• Follow pharmacy policies and procedures, including patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements (training provided)
• Assist with other retail responsibilities as needed to support daily store operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts based on the needs of the business
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
• Pre-employment drug test required
